We rode nine miles along the Schuylkill River

passed boathouse row and the Art Museum

glowing all red orange brown

in the day's last hour of November sun

we stopped at Java Ink
a coffee shop / tattoo parlor / art gallery / live music venue

the two of us had the place to ourselves

a cappuccino and coffee toast to sunset

we left with a promise 

to coffeeneur
again

together
